Radio has been identified as the grassroots medium. Moving Image Limited has recommended the use of radio to many of its clients. For example, ‘Tsohuwar Zuma‘ was a programme used to popularize the services of the defunct Bank of the North Limited. It featured series of interviews with different personalities about the life and times of Sir Ahmadu Bello, the Sardauna of Sokoto. We have also produced a 26 episode drama series (Duniyar Jatau) for USAID.
In 2016, a radio programme was broadcast in the first quarter of 2016 on KSMC AM Radio in Kaduna. It is titled “NOMA ABOKIN TAFIYAR ZAMANI” an agricultural programme targeting small hold farmer (SHF) with agricultural information, massages and techniques to upscale farmers’ capacity and financial status. It was an innovative public–private partnership, whereby public and private sector was brought together to collaborate so as to sponsor the agricultural radio programme that was assisted by Business Innovation Facility (BIF) of the Department for International Development (DFID).
Our latest Radio program is sponsored by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and being broadcast in nine radio stations across Northern Nigeria. The Title of the the program is NOMA ARZIKIN ZAMANI (Farming, source of modern enrichment). It is mainly popularizing the Green Alternative Agricultural Policy of the Federal Government of Nigeria
